The Craft Show

Several of you have heard and seen me craft like crazy for the Tennessee craft show that was supposed to have been yesterday. They rescheduled to next weekend because of weather. The second cropateer and I (Pam and I) went to help them but are not able to go back next week. We are hoping with my mom and dads great work and our crafty items, they will do good. Here are some of my dad’s woodworking pieces.

More glass blocks, some are double sided.

Love these double-sizes wood block decorations.

When we packed to come home, it started snowing. So cool for us Floridians.

Cuddling Koala

Hello friends!

I have finished my second month as a Design Team member at Magnolia-licious and I am beginning to feel some confidence slipping into my bones.  You have to know that this is hard and stressful!  Can I say “intimidating”?  I mean, not only is my team full of amazing artists, all the Magnolia Design Teams have amazing artists.  I would hardly have referred to myself as an amazing artist, but someone had faith in me!

Well that started getting mushy.  Let’s get to the fun stuff…like my DT sneak peak!  Oh, I love this card.  I love koalas and I love this image!  That is a lot of love!  This is an exclusive stamp called Koala Cuddles Tilda from 2011.  The paper and embellishments are in my stash so I can’t name them for you.  I will get better with that.

Flipping over Foamiran

Happy day friends!

It is an even better day because it is Friday and crop weekend! I’ll be spending it with my peeps from Creative as I want to be. I already know it will be a busy weekend coloring and, well, coloring. But first, I had to show you my newest project, which I am a bit proud of. My good friend, Shawn, at Magnolia-licious is the United States Foamiran dealer and has all the supplies you need to make gorgeous flowers! I love flowers on my cards, the more the better! Now, I can make them to match my project instead of struggling to find something in my stash to match. And talk about easy to make!

Now for my project…it is Homecoming time and I thought I would try making a corsage. I got a hinged metal bracelet from Hobby Lobby for $2.99 and viola!

Hope you can use this for inspiration!  Remember to be confident in yourself!

A New Challenge at Magnolia-licious!

Hello my crafty (and non-crafty) friends:

I am always excited to show you a new card or project.  This is my DT card for the October challenge. This is one of my favorite images because it is Princess Leia (Tilda xoxo from the 2017 Galaxy Collection).  I am super excited for Luke Skywalker (a.k.a. Edwin) to arrive.  A new challenge begins at Magnolia-licious so join us for fun, sharing, and prizes!

Craftin’ Crazy!

I am excited about participating in a craft show in Tennessee in October.  My parents have a cabin in Tellico Plains and south of there is a town called Ocoee,  home of the biggest gold rush on the east coast.  We have panned for gold with no luck but have seen people find gold “in them there hills.”  Anyway,  I digress.  My mom, dad, friends Pam and Jodie, and I will be crafting like crazy to have items for sale.

I understand that cards sell well.  So, I made some Christmas cards and Thanksgiving Day cards.

My favorite projects so far are the cupcake carriers and block Christmas decoration.
