Disney

You probably have guessed that I am a Disney freak.  I got back today from a couple days in Disney with my parents, brother and his family, and my daughter Elyse.  We went to the Animal Kingdom.  I got a scooter because my arm is still very sore and I was afraid someone would run into me!  I did not go on any rides but that is OK…I love to people watch.

The Swap

One of my favorite times of our weekend crops is when we do our ATC and Nutting doll swaps. We have a lot of very talented ladies in our group. I saw a tutorial on the twist pop up card and couldn’t wait to use it.  I used Julie Nutting’s “Dita” (Prima Marketing). Remember whenever you make a card or ATC to swap, always sign your work. It is a work of art and everyone wants to know who made it.

The day after

Wouldn’t you know it, last night I was at a crop with my friends and I tripped and fell and broke my arm. Not only that I leave in seven days for a wonderful cruise out of Los Angeles to Mexico.  It’s with Frank Garcia, my favorite designer from Prima.  I am also supposed to meet my family at Disney World on Tuesday. My next step is to see an orthopedic and get a cast. Of course it had to be my right arm and I’m right handed.

I made some Easter goodies to sell on my Facebook store and I posted them yesterday. I have several orders and one arm. I will have to get help with this one. I’m excited about the orders though, the business is picking up.

Thought for the day…do not trip.

In the beginning…

Hello friends:

While is not really the beginning, it is the beginning starting today.  I started a blog years ago but I wasn’t consistent.  I wanted a place to show my art and creations.  I love to color and craft and I also love to cross stitch.  I craft with a group of crafters and stitchers once a month.  This is one of my favorite cards created with a Saturated Canary image.  I love Saturated Canary and miss Krista’s creations.  You can find rubber stamp images at The Rubber Buggy and Loves Rubberstamps.
