I have a doctorate in business administration. I am a professor at a local state college. Yet, all I want to do is create and craft. I went to the University of Florida (go Gators) years ago but quit to get married. I was in the fine arts college and planned to be a graphic designer. Art is my passion but only my hobby now. Have you ever wished you could do what you love as a full-time job? <sigh>
I had a conversation today with a friend at work. She said that I should promote my FB store and design something that makes me unique. I’m not sure what that will be but I will not lose sight of the fact that “it all started with a mouse.” ~Walt Disney

I’ve done that same wishful thinking, a lot! But then, I remembered how every action has a reaction. Had I taken another path with my art abilities then I wouldn’t have came to Florida, wouldn’t have met/married my true soulmate and wouldn’t have my most precious granddaughter. Also, I am like you, I truly love my art journeys and if I had to do it for a living, I would be so afraid that I would lose that feeling of escape I get when I go off into my own little world. Make sense? You’ll do what’s right for you. I think you always do. Miss seeing you.
